28 December 2006 For those of you still waiting...and I know you are... Daisy isn't coming home...yet. There was a change in ownership of the kennel that is running the FTH dogs, and it seems that the girls missed their hormone shots, went into season, and just generally weren't running at the top of their game. So they, Daiz included, are getting some well deserved rest and then will be schooled back into active rotation. Since I last wrote, another Leelo Baby has left her racing career behind to find a new life as a pet! Angel Sophie Sox is recouperating on the farm from a minor injury and when she is good to go, she has a home waiting. Good luck, beautiful girl!! Hallie and Daiz are still on the "injured" list but Casey ran just last night, and ran just last. Poor big guy. I guess the visit from Mama Caffie on Tuesday made him think he was going back home with her! Better luck next time, handsome. Finally, just because she's the most beautiful red fawn babygirl on the planet...here are some pictures of my Daisy-Baby, courtesy of Dogstar Photography/Daisy's Unka Chris: And yes, I'm working on getting a new collar down there to her, MC told me that one has been worn to the point that it has a rip to the webbing. Not bad for wearing every day since March, huh?
