Not for much longer...

On August 12, 2004, the most beautiful little greyhound in the world was born. She was called Daisy, known to her racing fans as FTH Oopsie Daisy.

She grew up and in July of the next year she went to school to learn how to be a racer.

Upon her triumphant return to Jacksonville, she soon met her soon-to-be Mommy, who had been watching and loving this little greyhound girly from afar for almost two years.

She tried really hard at Jacksonville but wasn't as fast as the other dogs, so in a few months she made a trip down the road to Orlando to compete against some other dogs.

Through no fault of her own, her racing career was interrupted by some illness and other problems in the kennel, but the decision was made to let her try one more time because she got up to grade A at Orlando.

She tried really hard anyway...

It seems that Daiz and her sister Hallie and brother Casey are ready to come home and be pets...so very soon the next phase of my baby girl's life will start...with me! One hundred thousand thank yous to Mama Caffie and Daddy Bill for believing in my babygirl and for letting me have the chance to have her in my life. I have to believe that Profile's spirit has been with Daisy these past few days, telling her that life with me is pretty cool and that my sofas are very soft...so watch this space for updates on Daisy's homecoming!
