An Update from Puppy World

From Cathie:

"Yesterday instead of carrying two puppies at a time out of the kitchen, through the living room, and out the front door, we tried a quicker way of going outside. I opened their gate and ran through the house and out the front door. They all followed me without stopping to pee on the carpet! Major breakthrough. Their attention span is getting more focused. So then we all went down the 4 steps and ran across the yard to the fenced area. Fun! We did the same thing today."

All about Daisy...so far, anyway...

We found out about Daisy via Greytalk. Leelo and Stormy (Lady Leelo and CM Stormy) are Daisy's parents. Here are some highlights from the thread on Greytalk (that has since been deleted) about Daisy's birth...wmlcml6 is Cathie, the wonderful woman that made this possible for us.

"Do you think the first little girl that pops out could be our 'Oopsie Daisy' girl? You know, this could take a couple more days..... arrgghh, just like with human babies, they arrive when they are darn good and ready Poor Cathie is going to get very little sleep."

"I think the first girl has got to be named Oopsie Daisy or some version of that name. It's too perfect."

"9:18 EST - strong contractions now pretty regularly. If Daisy would go ahead and come out, I think Leelo and I both would be happier. Gotta go."

"So glad Daisy is here! Any idea how many more are coming? I'm so sorry I have to go to work!"

"Obviously I loved Daisy, but I haven't had any other names HIT me yet. I was thinking of Sophie and Casey (if we get a boy), but I thought we'd wait to see what the rest look like first before handing out names. I would love to hear any creative names you can think of, but we will keep Daisy!"

That's enough for now I guess...but here's a photo album of my girl's mommy Leelo and Daddy Stormy.

It's a GIRL!!!

Scott and I have a new baby...or at least we will, when she's done racing. Her name is Daisy, and she was born on August 12th, 2004 at 9:37 in the morning. Here's her pedigree: FTH Oopsie Daisy.

This blog is to track her progress as a racer as well as to serve as an online "baby book" for her. This is so exciting to me, because I know some about Hunk's and Jeany's upbringing and nothing about Liz's or Profile's.

More to come!!!
