Weekly Update

Via Mama Caffie:
The puppies all got hand slipped on on Monday. They chased the lure, kept their heads down and weren't out of breath at the end. In fact, Bill told me that he put 4 out together (Windy, Sophie, Flippy and possibly Daisy) and at the end of the race when the lure stopped, they flew past the lure and kept running without it! Not once, but twice! So they ran a track and a half at full speed, and an oval as a cool down or as I call it "victory lap" speed.

Yesterday he actually put them in the starting box, and they got timed. None of them had exceptional times, but the track hadn't been watered down since it was so cold and therefore it was deep and slower than usual. Now Bill has a guage to measure their progress. He said across the board, the Carlas are faster out of the box. But he said Casey (yep, big man Casey who never ran at home) and Arawen ran the fastest time of the morning.

She's a Brick...HOUSE

Oh man, has Daisy filled out in the time she's been gone! In this first picture, she is the second one over from the left...look at that heiney! No bald butt and muss-kles galore! I can't wait to meet my beautiful girl in person...but I also can't wait to see her RUN.
The second photo was taken just before she left to go to school, the first time she'd ever had a muzzle on. See the scared puppy still present in her pretty little face? All the puppies go through a stage, as I understand it, where they are very wooly...like they are growing into their grownup coats...and you can kinda see that as well. She just looks so small and like a baby...But get a load of that baby now! The next shot is Daisy sprinting around the turn out pen, investigating everything she sees.
Mama Caffie said she was running around like "What's that? Who are you? What is this?" and it was hard to get a good picture of her. In just a little over a month, I'll be hugging that beautiful girly...feeling that fur that MC says is just luxuriously thick and soft...and getting to look into those gorgeous eyes in person, and not through a monitor.

DAISY'S HOME!!!!! DAISY'S HOME!!!!! DAISY'S HOME!!!!!

Lookit My Girly's Shnozzzz

My girl is home!!! According to Mama Caffie, "I will get more (pictures) this weekend. She is just as beautiful as ever. And she was constantly moving. It was like "hey, what's over here, and over here ... who's that dog ... whatcha doin'?" LOL" I cannot WAIT until Sandy Paws when I can not only cover Daisy's nose with kissies but I can hug Cathie!

THEY ARE HOME!!!! They look almost exactly the way they did when they left.

Daisy - GORGEOUS, constantly moving checking every single thing out - I probably didn't get a good pic of her because she wouldn't stand still.
